#19151, Holland & Holland Sidelock Royal Extractor 500/465 Nitro Express Made for the Marquis de Peneranda and finished at H&H on October 2, 1908. This gun came to the U. S. about 30 years ago with a new buttstock by Holland & Holland and a complete restoration by them, The bores are excellent plus with square rifling the entire way, It has 26" Extractor Chopper Lump barrels with rib extension third bite, 1/4 rib with 1 standing & 2 folding rear sights, Fold-up night sight, London proof at 75 Cordite and 480 grain bullet, Bushed strikers, Double triggers with the front articulated, An extended top strap over the comb, Trapdoor grip cap, 14 5/8" L.O.P. over a 5/8" leather pad that is removable with leather plugs over the tiedown screws, It will go 15" LOP with a 1" pad, Cast-off for the right hand, Proper weight of 11 lbs., The gun with typical H&H Royal scroll, The frame retains traces of original case colors, The barrels have 97% blue as done prior to being imported and the outside barrel striking near perfect, The new buttstock by H&H remains in 97% condition, The checkering remains at 98%, The gun came to the U. S. about 30 years ago and recently it was African proven in Namibia & Tanzania with a couple of bull Elephants, The bores are excellent plus and remain in super condition, It is smack on the face and overall the gun looks like the day it left Holland & Holland about 30 years ago. It has a Deluxe Oak & Leather brass cornered trunk case by Huey with a full set of compliments and a trade label. This is flat out one nice 465 Royal with super nice bores to compliment a double rifle that has had a sheltered life.
