This means it's chambered in the 44 Russian cartridge. Gun retains about 40% of the nickel. The front sight has been filed down. The knob on the bottom of the frame is gone. The lockup is a little loose. The lanyard ring is missing. A true western gun thats "been there and done that". The grips are a beautiful aged yellow patina. They have shrunk some but thats to be expected on a gun thats over 140 years old. A true rarity.
