Here is a standard model 1892 rifle in 38-40 with 24" oct barrel and full magazine. It was made in 1905. It has a mirror as new bore. Barrel and tube retain at least 98% bright shiny Winchester original blue finish. The left side of the receiver retains at least 98% original factory high luster blue and the right side has at least 95% of the same high luster factory blue. The bottom of the receiver retains at least 50% blue. The hammer and lever have almost all of their original case colors. Even the butt plate retains most of the blue. Every single screw is perfect and untouched. The forend cap retains at least half of its blue. The wood stocks are almost mint, nary a scar. Front barrel retainer has about 1/3 of its blue finish. The pictures that show light areas are still covered in factory blue albeit thinning and the flash makes it look more silver than blue but believe me , when you see the gun, it is blue , not silver. You will be hard pressed to ever see such a fine condition all original factory Winchester Model 1892 from this era in such stunning condition. A true museum piece.
