S/N 10603 Colt Model 1902 Sporting Manufactured in 1907. Chambered in the 38acp cartridge. Distinguished from the Military version by having the rounded butt, no lanyard swivel, and holds a 7 round magazine instead of 8. There were 6,927 of these made compared to 18,068 of the 1902 Military making it much rarer and hard to find than the Military Model. This one retains over 85% of it's bright original blue. Barrel is bright and shiney with very strong rifling. This gun even has the rare nickel finish patent date magazine which is almost impossible to find anymore. Would make a great addition to your Colt auto collection.
