Description:
This is a RARE 'JACOB RUPERTUS', Philadelphia, Pa.,SINGLE SHOT RIFLE IN .45/90 which is stamped under the forearm. Circa:1870. RUPERTUS MADE SMOOTHBORE RIFLES. 30-1/4" smoothbore barrel. It has a twist barrel action. As you pull the button at the front of the receiver you then turn clockwise 1/4 turn. It automatically extracts the fired round. Blueing is about 99% and colors are bright and vivid. There is 2 small cracks in the left side of the forarm.
