Description:
My best guess is this is an American made patterned infringement of the S&W No.2 Army, 6 shot .32RF with fine action and bore. It is very bit the quality of the original. The only marking I find are the serial number 2785 and the letter "D". These are stamped under the grips, on the cylinder and on the barrel. Or it could be a licensed copy of the most popular Smith & Wesson and was likely made in Germany and is a VERY close copy and obviously of the same quality or better than as a Smith & Wesson. The revolver retains 99% of the original nickel. The original wood grips have 90% varnish. The metal is all over smooth. A very handsome little gun and worthy of an advance S&W collection that has these brevettes in his collection.
