Description:
This is an incredible rifle in an incredible caliber!! This rifle was built on a 98 Mauser action by JP Sauer in Suhl. It features a 23" octagon to round barrel with a full length rib. Near excellent bore. One standing and one folding rear sight. The makers name is engraved into the rib, and the barrel is made of Krupp steel. The action is nicely finished with stippling on top and has NOT been drilled or tapped for any optics. The bolt is nicely case colored too. The military style bottom metal has been very carefully sculpted and the trigger guard is quite nice. It was not uncommon for hunters to request this bottom metal because of the locking screws. The person who ordered this rifle had a lot of time and effort put into reshaping the trigger guard. The triggers are quite nice, currently out of adjustment but will probably clean right up. This rifle also features the classic pancake cheek piece and the panels on each side of the action. The fore arm is secured with a thru wedge. Not many of these classic beauties around, and even fewer in this great condition and Kaliber!! Credit cards add 3%, we offer a 3 day non-firing inspection period. Must ship to an FFL (for security purposes) and shipping is $40 via FEDEX with insurance. Thanks for looking. Strength and Honor!
