The Model 21 has earned its place among legendary double shotguns as the best built, strongest action and barrels ever created.  John Olin's personal favorite, it was built in grades from simple Field Grade to elaborate works of art.  Winchester offered a CUSTOM GRADE that was the finest it could produce, with special attention to the finest details, including highly figured wood, the finest metal finishes, and only the best of the Winchester craftsman would be used to build one of these custom ordered shotguns.  This particular CUSTOM BUILT M21 sn37066, is no exception.  The 16ga. guns were very low production so finding a CUSTOM GRADE 16ga. is a rare opportunity to own a gun that will continue to gain value as you enjoy its use.  With the  jeweled metal including forend iron, barrel flats, breech face, water table, and standing breech; ebony inlay in the Hessian style forend; and highly figured walnut stocks, this gun shows as new and is mechanically perfect in all ways.
