This Winchester Model 42  ''"upgraded "" to Double Diamond Deluxe.  (engraved by Angelo Bee)   It has 3" chambers, solid rib , engraved ducks on one side and a Pointer in a tree setting on the other.  The barrel is 26" Mod. and the LOP is 14 1/8" to the Win butt plate.  It has outstanding wood and a pigeon engraved on the bottom of the magazine tube.  According to the M-42  book  on pg. 131  it was built in 1950...and the engraving pattern is   Model 12-2  not model 42-2 as shown on page   81  in the  m- 42 book  by Ned Schwing...Two different men who have their  M-42's featured in the M 42 book said that my gun didn't  look correct  and they were right.........I have since found out who did the upgrading and he and Angelo Bee have done many over the years including M-12's and various grades of Brownings ,, this gun was logged out of his book in 2011,,

The serial # of this M-42  is 91439  and Robin Hollow had it listed in Dec. 2013 at $17,500 and it is there today  6-9-2014  where does he come up with prices???
