Description:
A rare SPRINGFIELD model 1903 SN 1515745, with a crisp clean bore one patch of corrosion up near the top of the barrel about 4" from the muzzle. This gun has strong/clean parkerized finish with very little wear, and the walnut military stock is very clean without any cartouches, and may have been refinished.There is a number 6 under the safety. The bolt has a SN stamped on it, and the barrel has USMC and a large S in a circle dated 12-43.The stock has a factory cut-out on the right side for a Lyman peep sight, however the receiver was never drilled, and tapped for the sight.Overall a rare gun!I hope you like my wide selection of unusual guns, knives and gun parts.
