Japanese Arisaka Type 99 Bolt Action Rifle, series 4, manufactured at Toriimatsu factory of Nagoya Arsenal, serial # 6294xx mis-matched bolt, cal. 7.7mm, with a 26" barrel and an very good bore, the metal surfaces show about 90% original finish with surface rust, the bolt numbers are Bolt & Extractor # 837, safety 217 and the F/P 942. The rear sight is graduated to 1500 meters and does not have the anti-aircraft wings. The wood stock showing nicks and dings attributed to military use and the left lower pistol grip area shows what appears to be battle damage most likely a shrapnel hit. The receiver Mum was defaced with a make shift tool instead of being ground, rifle has no cleaning rod. The overall condition as described is good plus. Inv: # 2-1707
