Except those listed as Payment Types Accepted: Bank Checks / Money Orders Description: Japanese Type 90 (3) Barrel Flare Pistol, manufactured by Kayaba Seisakusho (Kayaba Manufacturing) for the Imperial Japanese Navy, serial # 3545, the mark in front of the serial number is the logo of the Kayaba Kogyo company, pistol has a cast alloy frame and plastic grips, the safety on the left side has the character for "fire" in red in the upper position and the one for "safe" in white in the lower position, the other main markings are across the top of the rear of the barrel assembly, reading left to right they are: the Kayaba logo; the sakura (cherry blossom) mark of the Navy, the katakana to in a circle used as an inspection mark and the Naval anchor, there are different color decals on the end of each barrel (decals were used to identify the type of flare in the barrel) the left barrel shows a very very faint trace of a red decal, top barrel shows a very very faint trace of a white decal, and the right barrel shows some green decal, approximately 5,100 of the 3-barrel pistols were produced during 1930 and the end of World War II and this one is a second variation pistol which was the most common with some 3,400 units produced, will look great in a collection, overall condition is very good - very good plus.
