Description:
A 60 cal. percussion pistol with a 6 1/2" barrel. Overall length is approx. 12". Wood stock is checkered and flared at the bottom. There is a brass cap box in the butt and a vacant shield shaped escutcheon at the wrist.The lock, hammer and trigger guard are engraved. The wood has numerous dings and a few minor cracks but the overall appearance is good. The octagon barrel is somewhat pitted. The lock, hammer and trigger guard show remains of blueing. The ramrod has some discoloration but looks good. It has definitely been used.In summary, a nice antique pistol for the price. The action is strong. Antique- no FFL required. !
