Description:
This large ten cavity mold weighs over six Pounds and remains in very good condition. Mold casts a waisted teardrop bullet .61 inches long of 149 grains for a 36 caliber paper cartridge. This bullet and cartridge are shown in Thomas round ball to rimfire part four on page 172 number 14 and 15. These are described as Richmond lab 3rd pattern ball for combustible cartridge. Mold remains in very good condition with rusted patina and still holds three balls.
