What we have is a Colt 1911 Army frame made in 1918 with JMG Inspector (1917-18 only) mark. Slide is circa 1916 Springfield Slide with all proper markings. grips are the large diamond Springfield style. All other parts are period correct with checkered smalls, flat main spring, lanyard loop and 1/2 tone magazine. It went through a Frank Krack FK overhaul after the second war and then an RIA (stamped) over haul in 1950's. Gun has about 100% of proper military blue with as new factory markings on all parts. Nice clean bore.
