CHOBERT; S.G.D.G. is short for Sans Garantie Du Gouvernement which in English means Without Guarantee of the Government; SIDARME was a trademark name of the company, Forges et Aciéries de la Marine et d'Homécourt located in Saint Chamond, France which produced both the famous tank the Char d'Assaut Saint Chamond and Machine Rifle the Fusil Mitrailleur Modèle 1915 CSRG (Chauchat).
