D., 24" barrel with an island rear sight with express sights of 1 standing & 3 folding, Douglass barrel, Band front ramp with a sight protector with a spring lock, Barrel band sling eye, Properly installed EAW quick detachable pivot mounts with 30mm rings, Belly magazine with a straddle hinged floorplate with a center bow release, A Model 70 type 3-position wing safety, Nice trigger, Jeweled bolt, A pure Robert Winter Custom Classic style stock, Classic full wrap around point pattern checkering, European cheekpiece for the left hand, Trap door steel grip cap with a spare front sight, Double steel crossbolts, Excellent inletting, 14 1/8" LOP over a 1" decelerator pad, 9 lbs. 5 oz., The bore is as new, The original blue remains at 97%, The original stock finish at 97%, The checkering is 100%, This piece will produce 1" accuracy with Barnes 400 grain bullets, The 416 Hoffman chamber will handle 416 Remington factory cartridges without any problem and will fire form the cases. This is the 4th Winter bolt rifle custom I have had, all left hand, and he knows what is going on relative fit, finish, workmanship and proper function.
