* * * ON HOLD PENDING FUNDS / World War II U.S. Remington Model 1903-A4 Sniper Rifle, serial # 3424802, cal. 30-06, with a two groove 24" barrel and an excellent bore, marked on the muzzle "RA (Ordnance Bomb) 8-43",rifle has the correct split markings on the receiver ring, rifle equipped with correct scant stock along with the following stamping in the pistol grip area is a 1/2" diameter circled "P" firing proof, stock has beautiful dark walnut with better grain than usually seen, metal appears to have original dark gray green parkerizing with blued bands, the bolt I believe is arsenal done with a partial letter R stamped, the scope is a Lyman ALASKAN serial numbered 49191 (eye cup may be repro) with blued finish perfect optics and crosshair reticule mounted on a Redfield marked base with type two 7/8” rings having parkerized finish, the rifle and scope appear in excellent condition, included with the rifle is a military leather sling, will be hard to upgrade as it's in Collectors Grade Condition.
