Collectors/Hunters see this. This is a customized Remington commercial action built and chambered for the massive .405 Winchester cartridge. Teddy Roosevelt made this .405 round famous from using it on his African Safari's. These are rare rifles. I have only heard of 2 or 3 more made in bolt action. Teddy would roll over in his grave if he could have had one like this. Most are made in the weaker Winchester lever action model 1895's. This rifle is a lot stronger than any lever action. This rifle has a beautiful walnut stock, and has scope base and rings and mounted scope. The only equal Bolt Action rifle I have ever seen or heard of in this caliber is much more expensive than this one . I am listing this one at what should be a reasonably price. I will pay shipping.
