Lock also marked : REILLY. Action works good and is strong, and has the under barrel rammer. Gun overall measures about 14 1/4" long. Oddly the fit and finish of the wood is very tight, and close but the wood appears to be American flame grain maple, not English walnut. This gun must have been restocked in it's life possibly during the Civil War.The trigger guard is a simple iron made strip with a screw and stud holding it to the gun.The left front end has an age /grain crack that isn't too bad, and this gun has a original belt hook. An interesting percussion pistol of about .70 cal. with an oval butt-cap with a hinged door for percussion caps, and a nipple i suppose.I hope you like my wide selection of unusual guns, knives and gun parts.
