U.S. Model 1873 Bayonet with Scabbard, this is a 18" type socket bayonet for the Model 1873 Springfield rifle, blade is stamped "US" and is in good condition with a mottled brown patina, comes with a leather frog showing light wear and an unpolished unmarked brass button, steel scabbard shows a 50%+ finish with some oxidation heavier on the front side, overall condition is good - good plus. Inv.: # US 2498
