SPRINGFIELD KRAG U.S. MODEL 1898 RIFLE CIRCA 1899. .30-40 U.S. caliber. Serial in the 4xx,xxx range. Very nice looking overall with excellent bore. Re-blued and stock and hand guard refinished. Tight action and surprisingly good bore. Receiver stamped “U.S./MODEL 1898/SPRINGFIELDARMORY” and the serial number. Nice collection provenance.
