SUPERB AMERICAN FLASK & CAP CO. BEAR, DOG AND HUNTER POWDER FLASK. RILING # 1048. Circa 1850’s 8” flask with double sided motif of a bear treed by a dog and hunter. Adjustable charger top stamped “AM. FLASK & CAP CO.” Superb condition with most all the lacquer and perfect seams. 4 original rings and charger in working order. No dents and little used. Scarce and very fine example.
