the action iscrisp an snappy on this old saddle carbine. this a regular carbine has no saddle ring. the finish on metal has taken on deep brown reddish plumb color on the magazine tube. barrel shows 95 % original thinning blue . wood not been sanded shows no cracks or chips........the barrel is standard 20" is crowned
the bore is shiny with sharp rifling. . the barrel address markings are a type 7. The rear sight is a genuine Winchester flat top 3 C w/ reverse elevator.
