ORIGINAL A. FRANCOTTE 20GA. MODEL 20 or 20E EJECTOR VON LENGERKE & DETMOLD SIDE BY SIDE SHOTGUN. Serial number handcut "86907". Untouched wood with 15 LOP over leather covered pad. Actual wood extends to 14" so never been cut, just added to with two spacers and leather over red rubber pad EXTENDING IT TO 15". Checkering on buttstock and forend is original with NO recuts. Inletting from buttstock to receiver is typical 1920's perfection. Screws are untouched as the gun has probably never been apart. Sideplate engraving is perfect as are fences and sideclips with scrollwork and floralwork. Traces of case colors in recesses and original bluing on triggerguard and barrels. Original length 26 1/8" full solid rib barrels choked IC and Mod. Double triggers. Escutcheon plate proper length from toe is testament to its original buttstock length. Owners intials are on plate as gun came right out of same family. Normal cast for righty with 1 3/8" drop at comb and 2 3/4" drop at heel. Overall weight is a tad over 5 1/2 lbs. Perfect working order with excellent timing on ejectors. Untouched original example in tough to fins long LOP 20ga. Ejector gun. 1920's gun. With period leg o mutton case stamped with same initals as shotgun.
