Description:
Purchased on contract from the Dutch Government by Benjamen Franklin for the American forces during the American Revolution. Featured in "WEAPONS OF THE AMERICAN REVOLUTION" by Warren Moore, page 109, S49, and was previously part of his excellent collection. These muskets are extremely scarce and difficult to find. The musket remains in excellent condition and would make an important addition to any U.S. Military or Rev. War collection.
