Description:
S# 1074657, .30 WCF (30-30 Win), 24 inch barrel, bright excellent bore. This 1929 MFG rifle remains in very good condition retaining 95% blue on barrel and mag tube. Receiver shows flaking and carry wear with 70% blue remaining. Balance shows a nice dark gun metal grey patina. Wood is near excellent with small marks from use. This rifle took a bad fall in the field resulting in a large impact mark near comb on left side, scratches on left side of the receiver and impact marks on left top edge of forend with three scratches in barrel above. A Lyman brass dot front sight is mounted, the original Winchester flat top sporting rear with thumbpiece elevator remains and a Lyman No 1 A tang sight is mounted.
