Description:

This has got to be the finest S&W Triple Lock we have ever seen in nickel finish. It retains 100% of the original factory nickel and the end of the cylinder shows no signs of having ever been fired. It is a standard 6.5" barrel with pre war wood gold medallion grips that are also gem mint with no wear of any kind. This is basically a gem mint unfired Triple Lock sent in 1917 to Tryon Hardware in Philadelphia. This gun was made from 1908-15 so this sat at the Smith factory for two years after production end before being shipped. You will never see a nicer nickel example of this rare early big frame Smith .44.
