Description:
About 1000 of these were made for the US Navy in the 25000-26000 serial range. They are blued with 6" barrel in .38 Colt with diamond checkered wood grips and stamped on butt with anchor USN and JAB inspector. Stamped on barrel with S&W 38 Mil. Usually hard used with little condition, this one still has at least 85% of its original high luster factory blue finish with mint markings. Gem mint bore and action.
