Grouse gun par excellence. Made in Liege before 1940 possibly by Mahillion or Francotte for the firm of L. Von Caughenberghe of Anvers Belgium . At 5 lb 10 oz it is a delight to carry. Choked SKI and LM, it fits well in any upland covert. Stocked in nice French wood, dimensions 1 3/8" x 2 1/2" x 14 1/4" over 3/4" pad, cast to left (Can be bent.) 26 3/4" bbls, original 70mm chambers (2 3/4")raised tapered file-cut rib, front ivory, middle metal beads. Scalloped Frame and action nicely engraved in rosette and scroll. A very affordable mid-level gun for someone seeking a 16.
