This is a Winchester Model 1885 Limited Series Traditional Hunter Short in .45-70 Government. The single shot receiver has a high gloss blued finish showing no signs of wear or use. The 22" Octagonal barrel has a high gloss blued finish showing no signs of wear or use. The buttstock and forearm are made from walnut, with crisp checkering in the wrist and forearm. The low luster finish on the furniture shows no signs of wear or use.
