FN Model 1949 Luxembourg Contract Semi Auto Rifle, serial # 4231, there's also another number below the serial number that reads Flaming Bomb 0 Flaming Bomb 1, cal. 30-06, 23" barrel with a very good bore, metal surfaces retain about 90% original black finish with some wear showing on the side of receiver and at the front of the barrel, receiver is marked "AL" (Luxembourg), this rifle has a few deep gouges just in front of floor plate to the right and an illegible (FN) cartouche just forward of the magazine along with a tight stress crack running forward to the sling band and another on the right side under barrel band, rifle comes with an attached single detachable magazine, as described the overall condition on this scarce rifle rates a good plus.
