Factory specs are as follows: Taurus catalog number R308MBS; caliber .308 Winchester; break-open single shot action; single stage trigger; transfer bar and manual lever safeties with cable lock; 23 inch barrel; Weaver base with filler screws furnished if anyone wants to go it with the Fiber Optic Sights only; overall length 38 1/2 inches; weight empty 6 1/4 pounds. This rifle comes with a factory blue steel, two-screw hammer extension for scope mounting. The red front, dual green rear fiber optic sights are high enough to clear many of the Weaver see-through scope rings.
