Please note that I have a second matching Sauer 200 takedown hardcase with original foam for $100 less. You will have to replace the foam, but it is otherwise in matching excellent condition.
PLEASE NOTE that the rifle shown in the last photo is not included with the sale of this factory issue hardcase. The rifle is for display purposes only to show you how your Sauer 200 rifle will fit in this case!
This listing is for a very nice ORIGNAL ISSUE SAUER & SOHN FACTORY HARD CASE FOR THE MODEL 200 TAKE DOWN SPORTING RIFLE.
Most of the rifles were originally shipped in a large cardboard shipping box with heavy foam padding, but a few were special ordered shipped in the special order factory made accessory hard case, which was designed to fit the rifle when it was taken down.
These hard cases are embossed with the Sauer 200 logo and are very attractive and very functional.
This case will fit all calibers.
These cases date back to the mid 1980's to the early 1990's, and most all of them will have aging deteriorating foam padding,
The aging padding has been removed from this case and new padding installed. it is in extra nice condition and ready to use as soon as it arrives.
It is in excellent condition with slight handling marks. It will come with a copy of the instructions of how to set the combination lock on the case. The case has two end latching locks and the center combination lock so it locks quite securely.
If you have been looking for this very rare and hard to find Sauer 200 accessory hard case issued by Sauer & Sohn to fit your Sauer 200 rifle, then you need look no further. I would never consider selling it, but at age 80 have decided to do so.
