Description:
This scabbard is described on pages 421-422 of Brophy's "Springfield 03" book. Scabbard is maker marked "L-F CO 11-18" and stamped "ARG." near mouth. It is also stamped "W.D.C." near muzzle end. This item is in very good condition with many marks and stains from use and some soiling. The original straps are also included. A very nice example of this late cavalry item this will be a great addition to a 1903 display or WWI collection.
