Description:
25" SxS chopper-lump barrels with smooth concave rib, fine brass bead at muzzle, finer brass center bead, and passive rib-extension third fastener, choked improved cylinder and modified. 14 1/2"pull from front trigger to striated wood butt, 1 1/2" - 2 1/4"drop, 3/8" cast-off. Figured walnut stock with Anson-pushbutton-release splinter forend, straight English grip, classic point-pattern checkering with mullered borders, teardrops and vacant silver oval. Rose & scroll engraved action with Southgate ejectors and manual top tang safety. Weight: 6lbs, 7oz. London Nitro proofed for 1 1/8oz and with original 2 1/2" chambers. Built 1913.  Refinished, but excellent mechanically: mirror bright bores ring like chimes, Dead tight on the face even with the forend removed, minimum wall thickness .029 inches, and sound wood. In canvas-covered, leather-trimmed trunk case.
