Description:
This two piece full top box is opened and full. Top label shows a tiny scuff at lower right. This is the mid 1930's smokeless greaseless box with "22 short " shown on cartridge cut, listed in Blyth + Dunn as CIL-4-5-4. This box was quickly replaced with a one piece box and is quite hard to find. Box bottom shows damage inside thumb cuts. The side of top shows stamped "Dry Lubricated Bullets".
