Special Pigeon Model. 30" SxS barrels with flat matted rib, brass muzzle bead, fine steel middle bead and 8 Teague interchangeable choke tubes. 14 3/8"pull from front trigger to solid black recoil pad. Leather-covered, fully adjustable comb. Fully figured walnut stock by Malcolm Cruxton with engraved steel-capped pistol grip, beavertail forend with recessed Anson pushbutton release, teardrops and gold escutcheon bearing monogram of original owner William Freitas. Acanthus scroll engraved by Johnny Beech with maker's name in gold, doll's head and active third fastener, bushed firing pins and manual top tang safety. Double-beaded, long-tang triggerguard inlaid with gold pigeon. Color casehardening by Ray St. Ledger. Weight: 8lbs, 6oz. London nitro proofed for 1 1/4oz loads in 1982. Retaining 99% blue, 80% case colors. In aluminum hard case. Pictured, cover, Sporting Gun Oct 1982.
