152) Here is a 50 round box of WWII Colt 1911A1 US military “.38 Super” ammunition. The US military bought 476 Colt 1911A1 Gov’t Model .38 Supers (Ordnance marked) in WWII and issued some of them to the OSS. This ammunition was issued with those pistols. The brown box and ammunition is in xlnt condition. It is marked “50 CARTRIDGES/COLT, SUPER/CAL .38 BALL/LOT R.A./REMINGTON ARMS CO., INC./5001 (LOT#). The inside flap has “FOR USE ONLY IN COLT SUPER, AUTOMATIC PISTOLS DESIGNED FOR HIGH VELOCITY AMMUNITION”. Buyer pays shipping of $6 for USPS Priority. Sold as collector item only. $165
