Description:
this listing is for the discriminating collector. this sports a 24 " octagon barrel with a mint bore bright shiny no etch or pit . the finish is 98% original blue on barrel and receiver. The crowned barrel is just lovely with a tad of blue loss at the very end. the wood shows no cracks or chips with just a few minor handling marks. the Butt plate has the USM logo as well as a smooth metal finish. notice the wood stands proudabove the metal thisone is with the semi pistol grip. the edges are sharp on the barrel and are just starting to silver.This is also a take down. These were also used as target rifle as well as gallery guns. They used these in the shooting gallerys of canivals and such. this one has had not a lot of use the serial # denotes circa of 1928.........this is 86 years young and you can still buy ammo in 22 short long or long rifle......... this will need C&R or FFL to ship..........
