This was a special ordered gun to be engraved by the Master Engraver Mr. Gianfranco Pedersoli and the ornamental scroll by Mr. Goldani. It has 98% coverage and the scenes were taken from original paintings done by Harry Adamson, one of the 20th century's most admired and influential painters of waterfowl. The left lock Pintail scene came directly from the Sutter Buttes in north central California. The bottom of the frame has "Zorro" from a painting done by the true Texas Treasure, Mr. John P. Cowan. This very gun is one featured in Mario Abbiatico's book on Italian engravers and the engraving certificate for gun #559 was signed by Mr. Abbiatico. It has very nice European walnut with nice color contrast, the entire gun remains at 99% inside & out. It is cased in the maker's leather trunk. Here is a true "Art" gun with the superb Bulino Engraving of the Italian Master Mr. Pedersoli that is very difficult to replace at any reasonable cost in today's market. This is top drawer Italian workmanship and quality with classic lines, good balance and comes to the hand with ease with a very proper size 20 Bore Action body.
