Description:
COLT NEW SERVICE sn333xxx with 5 1/2" barrel in .45 Colt. THIS COLT IS NEARLY NEW!!! Original factory blue is at 99% with only the faintest, and hardly distinguishable loss at the muzzle. There is a cylinder drag line of the lightest sort. Case color on the lanyard loop is 100%. Being extremely picky, there are several scattered very tiny specs in the finish and a small mark on the frame where the hammer cocks against it. There is also a very small oxidation mark on the right side of the rear sight channel. In total, none of this even equals the 1% discount in condition to 99%. The front and back straps exhibit factory checkering. The revolver boasts a superb set of mother of pearl grips with carved ox head on right panel. These grips, which exhibit a factory quality fit and may well be factory installed, show great fire and color. Bore and mechanics are almost as new having seen the most minimal use.
