Description:
A nice large single shot percussion pistol by HENRY PARKER. .60 cal, barrel is 12 " long. Overall length is 19". Top of barrel is marked LW with 2 proof marks that I believe to be English. The lock retains most of its bluing . . The full stock extends to the tip of the barrel and appears to be walnut.The wood is in great condition with very few marks. A fine old weapon. The barrel was finished brown . The buttcap,trigger guard and side plate are brass with a nice patina. The ramrod support is also brass. i The action is strong and works well.
A massive and intimidating weapon. Designed to be used as a sturdy club when needed.
