Classic vintage British sporting rifle in immaculate condition. Oberndorf Mauser action with wing safety. No holes drilled. 603XX. Serial number on trigger guard bow, bolt, safety and shroud match. Caliber .275 H&H Magnum (2.5”, Cordite 44-160 max.). Point pattern checkering with full wrap around the forearm. Small pancake cheekpiece. 13.5” LOP over solid brown rubber butt pad. Stock with characteristically pleasing and typical British reddish hue. Rounded pistol grip. Barrel length of 24 7/16”. Island block rear sight with 1 standing blade for 100 yards and 2 folding leaves (200 and 300 yards). Ramped front sight. Barrel band front swivel eye and swivel stud eye in stock. Picadilly address. Stock without any scratches at 99+%, and metal at 98%. All screws perfect. A nice handling and trim British sporting rifle.
