Winchester Model 21 20 gauge. Probably from the late 1950’s to early 1960’s this gun is serial number: 30952. It has very desirable 28” barrels choked LM/F and actually measure .012 & .025 which does figure to M/F. The straight grip stock, as you can see has exceptional figure and both the stock and forearm were refinished and the checkering recut by master stock maker Jim Greenwood. The LOP is 14 ½” over the full leather pad (also by Jim Greenwood), 1 3/8” DAC and 1 ¾” DAH with about ¼” left hand cast. The gun weighs 6 lbs. 10 oz. and is perfectly balanced between the hands. The gun retains in excess of 97% blue.. I am quite certain that the barrel finish is original AND if the frame has been restored then it was done magnificently! Fantastic Model 21, fantastic bird gun.
