THE POLICE POSITIVE SPECIAL IS A RATHER RARE GUN IN THAT IT HAD A SLIGHTLY LARGER FRAME THAN THE POLICE POSITIVE TO ALLOW FOR THE LONGER .38 SPECIAL CARTRIDGE. THIS SPECIMEN IS MINT EXCEPT FOR INITIALS LIGHTLY SCRATCHED ON ONE GRIP PANEL ON THE BUTT. LITTLE IF ANY EVIDENCE THE REVOLVER WAS EVER FIRED. MADE IN 1969 - AND MUST HAVE BEEN SITTING IN A DRAWER FOR ALL THESE YEARS TO HAVE REMAINED IN THIS CONDITION. WE WISH THEY STILL MADE THEM!
