Description:
A large English Flintlock Pistol O/U with Bayonet. .60 cal. bore, barrels are 2 3/4" long. Overall length is 8 1/2". Barrels retain about 85%+ of the original bluing with engraving at the tips. Many other parts including the lock, trigger guard and buttcap are engraved. The barrels unscrew for breech loading. The top barrel is marked"1". There are two proof marks near the trigger guard. The bayonet does not spring out but does hold firm when taken out and stores properly when the trigger guard is moved back. There is a safety and the action is strong . The right side of the lock is marked "London". There is an unmarked escutcheon plate set in the nicely checkered grip. The wood and metal are both in EXCELLENT condition. This is about the nicest one of these that I have seen. This is an antique so no FFL is required.
I am selling a large collection.  See  all listings under "Romsey.
