Description:
This is one of the last hand engraved models and a very limited production item from Beretta of Italy. The pictures illustrate its beauty even from this less than competent photographer. It is an extremely quick pointing and smooth handling shotgun whose 26"barrels and 28 gauge size bore brings little recoil and great patterns. There are no holes in these patterns for birds to get through! The side plates show three pheasants on one side and two snipes on the other. They are very proportionate and depict birds in a wildlife setting and are a tribute to Mr. Bottiga G. Gintonlli's fine skills as he signed this shotgun as most master engravers do. Seven extra chokes compliment the two in the shotgun and should suffice for any type of shooting. The stock matches the rest of this gun. It fits perfectly and has unusually attractive patterns (especially from Beretta) in the wood. The only stocks that surpass it in beauty that I have ever seen are custom that costs 3-7 thousand dollars. This shotgun was hand engraved as was very few of Beretta's original guns before they converted completely to rolled engraving except on the SO series. This is a great buy for a discriminating sportsman and owning it is a mark of distinction in our shooting fraternity This is the package.
