The Classic's frame is made of 4140 steel, and the slide is made of 4140 hammer-forged steel with rear mil-spec serrations. The barrel is made of throated, forged steel. The Classic features a lowered ejection port, mil-spec sights, thumb and beavertail grip safety with combat trigger and combat hammer. Overall dimensions are 8.25" long with a 5" barrel, 5.5" tall, 1.25" wide and an empty weight of 36.96 oz. It comes in a deep blued matte finish with checkered wood grip.
