Winchester Model 70 Super Grade Rifle .30-06 Springfield Caliber 24" Barrel, with Flip up rear sight, and Ramped front bead sight, with hood. Leupold Extension Scope mounts and Medium height rings Transitional Model, Mfg. 1946 Condition: Very Good, approx. 75-80% overall. Moderate evidence of use to wood. Heel of butt has small chip, and circumference of butt show some water damage to finish. Several dings and scratches to wood from use. No sign of abuse, all honest wear. Metal blue more in the 90% range, with most visible wear to bolt handle knob. Bore bright and sharp. A very nice, original Super Grade, with just enough wear to be of primary interest to the hunter who prefers to hunt with "The Rifleman's Rifle".
